M.Tech in India is a 2-year post-graduation technical course that can be pursued mainly in engineering/science disciplines. M.Tech is also known as ME in some institutes. Full form of M.Tech is “Master of Technology” and The full form of M.E. is “Master of Engineering”. This course can be done by B.E./B.Tech degree holders in engineering disciplines and M.Sc degree holders in some science disciplines.

Eligibility Conditions to do M.Tech Course
If you are interested in doing M.tech course, then you should have an undergraduate degree in science subjects.
Candidates must have passed Bachelor Degree or BE / B.Tech / like course with 50% marks.
To do M.Tech, it is mandatory for the candidates to pass in the entrance exams.
How to get Admission to M.Tech Course?
There are some government colleges in India that allow direct admission to students under management quota without entrance exam, but direct admission is based on your 12th and Bachelor’s degree marks. For direct admission, you must have passed the undergraduate course with 50% marks in aggregate.
Apathy from it, to take admission in M.Tech, you have to give entrance exam in the college of your choice, if you clear the entrance exam with good marks, then you can easily get admission in M.Tech colleges.
